before that even happened, i would try to understand what kind of person my boss is and what kind of work would be expected from him. sometimes hard work is not necessary if we can work smartly and know how to tackle the boss needs.
but if that still happen, i would sit down with him and ask him what exactly he wants. and if he asks for too much, i'd rather honestly tell him its beyond my ability.
honest to the boss and HONEST to yourself, and it should be fine..no stress :)
p.s; did that happen 2u?

The boss is always right. He may expect something more from you and you might haven't reached it.So,it will be better to ask him, what his aim is and try to fulfill it,the next time.Sometimes,we work hard, but in the wrong direction.Cheers!

Well, this is a good question.I think that it must be a blow to me.However, this always happen in our surroundings. We have to learn to adapt to the surroundings. If we are rejected ,that means that we have to improve ourselves day after day.Donot worry about it too much,we can win what we want .

I think I would ask the boss what you could do better. I think I would also express to the boss that you want to do an excellent job and would appreciate any input to help you improve your performance. Sometimes even the worst criticism can give you a glimmer of insight into how you can improve on a job. You may really have to dig to find it.
