Hi folks, I am back again with another update and to check on everyones conditions.
It appears this virus is taking hold and going to give us a bumpy ride. It has spread all over the world and is killing people at an alarming rate. There have been many more reports of the virus here in the states, and there have been reports of deaths also. How is everything going where you live? Have there been any reports of this virus there? Where are you located? Any deaths related to this? I received a response from someone the other day ago that said there was no reported swine flu in their area, but foot and mouth was spreading quickly. Are there any diseases that are spreading quickly where you live that we in America and other parts of the world may not be aware of? Stay safe everyone. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

All we can do is Pray....it is another sign of the times...end times! Govt testing,I believe to see how the Med staff and communities would handle an increase of what is to come.

I agree all we can do is be cautious, aware and prayerful in these trying times. Things like this are sure to continue happening in this world. I am certain these instances will just intensify over time. Let's everyone know how "unprepared" they are for the glorious coming of Christ.

Oh yeah it's all over due to the slack or NO border patrols doing anything about illegals coming into the USA, but what can we expect when our president says it's okay for them to be here. We should have known this was going to happen. We have one case reported in Orlando. The sad part is he was an illegal Mexican and got sick at Disney World. Now read this taken from the news.
"A case of swine flu was diagnosed today at Florida Hospital and disclosed in an email authored by its chief medical officer, but the infection was immediately denied by Florida Hospital and Orange County health officials, who claimed in a press conference, "There have been no confirmed cases of swine flu by the CDC in Central Florida." Guess he doesn't count since he isn't a legal resident.
Makes me wonder if we are facing some type of bio-warfare. Now would be a good time for them to do such a thing. The terrorist have been given an open door to come here. See what a stupid thing Obama has done...http://around-the-world-news.blogspot.com/2009/04/bush-official-release-of-cia-secrets-by.html
I hope and pray this comes to an end soon...

That is interesting to hear. I would of known nothing of it if it weren't for your information. See that is what I am talking about. Supposedly there is freedom of press, but I certainly know that simply is not true. They are only aloud to report what the government wants it to. Thanks for sharing. That is exactly what we need in here is people updating others. It keeps us informed better than any news channel.

Good day.. It's scary alright. I know that this is cliche but that's probably what we get from abusing mother nature. I mean here in the Philippines the rainy season comes a month earlier. When we should have a hot summer now what we have is "rainy" summer., we are actually experiencing the effects of global warming. I guess this is one aspect of it as well. I just hope we will learn from this before it was too late.

I am afraid that this Virus is travelling along with unknown sick passengers. but not to worry, if there's a cure then the Crisis Management that handles this sort of problem would be able to contain it. I hope every one is cautious about this virus. there was a News today that a 2 year old from Reno got a symptom for this disease but never had gone to mexico..

It is really hard to tell what is next. I think that things will just get worse and worse over time. Maybe cholera, or airborne aids.

Because China has been suffered SARS, It's a really terrible period. everyone can not go travel to those city which suffered the virus. I think these two virus are very similar, I will pray it get finishe quickly for the whole world.

I am in Minnesota USA and there were 2 suspected cases but not yet confirmed until the reulsts come back from CDC in Atlanta later today. There have been lots of deaths but considering the amount of cases reported, the deaths are as normal as deaths with the standard flu.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I live in Mississppi in the United States and as far as I know, no cases of the swine flu has been reported where I live. And I hope it remains that way myself. But regardless, I've still been doing what I can to stay good in the hygiene area and doing what I can to help prevent catching it if the possibility is there.

I live in Nebraska, and I know that there has been at least one confirmed case in Omaha. Thankfully, I don't live in Omaha, but that doesn't make us immune at all. As I said in a different discussion, my son told me that one of his friend's parents is very sick and the doctors have done tests on her to see if she has swine flu or not. She hasn't gotten the results yet, but I pray that she doesn't have it.

no case of swine flu yet here in the Phils. but their preparation and precautions made are really quite alarming. Every passenger arriving at the airport is being monitored of his temperature. Hospitals are being prepared for passengers having detected of fever. Bulks of medicines are well prepared as well. I just got a flu after the holy week, am glad I got well after five days. Other wise I will be very much worried. I learned from my online friend in one of the states there are 40 cases of swine flu already theirend. We have to pray an end to this flu out break not only here in our country but to our neighboring countries and other countries such as United States where we have so many countrymen and online friends.

First, stay safe. Take all the necessary precautions. The CDC website has good information on swine flu.
I live in the Philippines and we can see from the tv reports that the govt is implementing safety measures. The international airports is using the thermal scanner used during the SARS epidemic to check the temperature of arriving passengers. Those with fever are isolated and further checked for other symptoms. There are no reported cases of swine flu in my country as of this moment. It is astonishing to see in the news that the US-Mexico border does not have the same equipment we have.

Hello keithmharris2005,
This is a great subject to get going with a discussion. I think a subject like this will help many people. I live in Massachusetts and just yesterday found out that the swine flu is here in Greenfield. I can say its one of the most dangerous infections in a long time thats been out there and its traveling very very fast. It is very sad to hear things like this that are ruining the world and life. I dont think there is anybody out there that wants to see so many people sick or die because of things like this.
