Anyone find it interesting what words are banned for use here... I tried to use the word Liqu0r in a post but apparently that is a banned word.... what the heck is that about? I can say beer, alcohol booze, but not liqu0r?

Other than obvious profanity, the only word I've been stopped on a few times is the word WH0RE. I don't understand why that word isn't allowed. It's a perfectly legitimate one.

In context sure... out of context as a general insult it is considered profanity by some....

Well yes, I'm very aware that some consider it to be an insult when used in certain contexts. It's just like the word b!tch.

I'm not sure why it is, but I have also noticed it over the years. I would like to know all of the words we cannot use here.

Yes it would be nice if they published a list of banned words... although maybe they do, I've never gone looking.

I have had the same problem with the same word, and I used the same alternative spelling that you did. Other times I'll use an underscore instead of a space. "they won't let us use the word_liquor here on Mylot." With no separation between word and the other word, their scencors miss it!

Yes! i also had this experience but don't call it a problem!!! it is rather more interesting to right the same word and cheating the system!!! however you can definately avoid this thing if you want by changing you prefernce settings!!!

Ok, you're not the first person to claim this... however I've gone through the preferences and see nowhere I can alter that... where do you see that setting?

I think it's funny watching people trying to say D!ck as a name and having to do what I've done here.

Yes I have encounter the problem. The words are not ban what you have to do is to go to your preference in change a option to use those words. In one of my replies I had used the word se x to mean about the male and female but it stop me and told me to modify the option in my preference to able to post the reply with that word. It seems so funny. There must be something that will understand the contextual meaning of the word. LOL..
