I just heard about ticket prices at Yankee Stadium!

I was shocked to hear how expensive the seat prices at the new Yankee Stadium are! One box seat costs over $2,600.00! The seats they call Radio seats(You would need a radio to hear the game!) are $500.00! That is crazy! Now that the Yankees attendence is down,they are looking into lowering tickets prices! Duh! They should of thought about this when they buildt the new stadium! What idiots!

That is just insane right there. How in the world can anyone actually afford such a thing? This must be more of a message of wanting the rich and wealthy to go to the games only because soon enough that is probably what could happen. Someone forgot to them about the Economy in the first place. Or if they do, were very foolish to think that it can sell out so easily.

I don't know how people can afford tickets unlees they are rich! I think alot has to do with the yankee's owner George Steinbrenner. I think he has no sense of reality! He probaly thinks all Yankee fans can and will pay the high prices! Ya right! I think it is insane and something has to done about it!

I think George's kids are taking over it and I do agree. It is just insanity to say the least and it makes no sense to continue with the heavy price tags. I guess the Economy doesn't affect this team. Why don't these companies go to them for bail out money?

The prices are ridiculous. I've heard that a lot of people who had season tickets, some for over 20 years, didn't bother getting them because the prices are too high. I saw a story on ESPN, I think, about this not too long ago. They talked to a couple of men who had season tickets before. One of them said that his tickets would have cost him over $800,000 and he wasn't about to pay that. The other said it came down to either having season tickets or keeping two of his employees. Luckily he made the right choice and kept his employees rather than buy tickets.
I know I've complained about the prices rising at my ballpark since it opened but at least it's not as bad as Yankee Stadium. It's just crazy.

I'm a Milwaukee Brewer fan and thank goodness Miller park is not as insane when it comes to prices as Yankee Stadium is!

That is outragious. I have always wanted to go to a Yankee game, but seriously if those are the prices there is no way I could go to a game. I would be sleeping in the stadium for the cost of the Radio seats.
