The truth that causes a tear or a lie that causes a smile?
This is actually asked to me by a friend. I want to know what others think!

A truth that causes a tear is much better than a lie that causes a lie because the truth is much better than a lie in any situation. I say this because when a lie is told, the truth is usually revealed later on which causes much more heartache.

Alot of people are living a lie and Know it ... they all go around with their head held high and a smile on their face and everyone thinks their lives are perfect... I prefere the truth all the way... how anyone can live a lie is beyond me... I am a very honest person and would never lie or want to live a lie.

i think it depends on the circumstances.if a child has cancer and he is to young to understand every thing. a lie that causes a smile might be in order.if a husband or wife is cheating and decides to confess that truth that causes a tear is for the best. take care.

Truth that causes a tear. I definitely prefer that. In India there is a line 'truth always triumphs' in her national emblem. I think that is so true. Lie that brings smile will not lasts. That's my view.

lets face the truth then and let the tear fall down.
it isn't that bad to hear and face reality and i think it would be a lot easier to face it than to run away from it. It maybe hard to accept yet there's time that will help us heal every single scratch. It would be a lot better to know the truth for us to not fantasize on to something unreal.
