Recession: Are you or your spouse out of work??

I lost my job 11/2008 due to it going out of business. my husband is employed but his place is not doing well. I know a lot of people who have lost their jobs and many are still unemployed. My sister lives in another state and both she and her husband lost their jobs. She has gone on many job interviews but hasn't found work yet. I haven't had any interviews in 5 months but I am looking to be self-employed so I am not that worried.

fortunately not at the moment, although we both feel that we may be out of work in the near future. we are hoping to create our own jobs anyways, we are planning to start a drop in centre for youth in our area over the summer.

Hi April. Yeah , recession is all over the world. Luckily, I am doing fine, still very busy. I could not say for the longer run, but for now I am ok.
