A NYPD officer called to help a drunken woman get home safely instead raped her as she lay semiconscious and facedown on her bed while his partner stood and acted like the lookout.
They were suspended and pleaded not guilty Tuesaday on rape, burglary and official misconduct in the Dec. 6 incident in the East Village neighborhood in Manhattan.
When I read this I was very disgusted. The police is suppose to protect and serve. How do you feel about this incident?

Been reading alot of stuff like this lately, and it just pisses me off really. Who you can't trust those who's jobs are to serve and protect then who can you trust? I think the police have become to powerful for their pants, and need to be reminded of just who it is they work for. (tax payers) So get off my @$$, and go arrest a criminal.

Its really hard to know who you can trust these days... those who swore to protect are the ones doing us harm. I hope that justice would be served and that these two policemen would be punished according to their crime.

This sort of thing really disgusts me. I can't believe that these police officers did this to this poor woman. As you've said, caskin, police officers are supposed to protect and serve. Why can't all police officers understand this?? Why do some police officers chose to take advantage of people, like this woman? This is something that I would like to know and understand.
