I would say that is the best way to lead life. The present if too hypocritical and filled with showoffs. The choice is ours if we want to join it or not. The biggest advantage of being simple is you will have a clear conscience and that gives you mental peace and happiness. I think these are the most important things one would want to have in life.

No , simplicity is beauty. Don't mind people , what they are saying matters little but what you are saying and doing matters much. Outside people never matters, some are just insecure while others don't have anything to do and envy. Be yourself..that what makes you beautiful.

My life definitely is not simple. It's complicated on so many levels, but I don't think this is a bad thing. It adds flavour and variety to my life, weither it's good or bad. It gives me something to work through and achieve and figure out. If things are too simple, then I find that they are boring. I don't want my life to be boring at all.
Well, do you think that how you're living your life is bad? Because it doesn't matter what anyone else says. I could tell you that your simple life is good or that your simple life is bad. But that doesn't change a thing. You need to live how you feel the best. Whatever makes you happy. I prefer a complicated life, it's what makes me happy. If it were simple I would dislike it. You seem pretty please with simplicity. Perhaps you would not enjoy complication? It is ultimately your decision and only your opinion that counts when it comes to how you live your life.

My life ends up being full of drama because other people bring it around. I hate it. That aside, I live rather simply. Small cheap apartment. The most basic electronics. No excess cash lying around. No car to worry about the insurance and payments and gas costs. No expensive furniture, it's all secondhand. No vacations for me, I'd rather read a story to the neighborhood kids, play in the rain or with a puppy or kitten... No fancy dinners. Just enough to make me happy, appreciate what I have, and always willing to work if I want better.

Simple is beautiful.
But for some people, not at all times. Creativity and flair are also beautiful, and for people who prefer this, they think simple is dull.
But that's what they think. Don't let it get to you. Live your life.
