My first computer was P2 with 128 mb RAM and 16 GB Harddisk.
Then I just upgraded my cabinet to Dual Core processor with 1 GB RAM and 160 GB Harddisk.
Few months back I just upgraded my RAM to 2 GB but still I am using same old 15' CRT monitor.
But I have upgraded my system twice.
How many times have you upgraded your system?

Thanks for your response to this discussion
Asus motherboards are really very good. Good decision.
Which processor you are using?
I think you have upgraded to a better configuration.
Have a nice life ahead

my first computer .... 386 with no HD, just disk drive.
I changed my system every 1 year, at the beginning of year to be exact. I'm a gamer and I can't tolerate my game lagging on me, so I decide every year I will always update my computer with "best buy" price for every new year.

Well I don't remember how many times I have upgraded my computer. I started with a P3 machine which had 128 MB Ram and a 20GB hard drive. In those days 20GB Hard drive was one of the highest capacity you could have in a personal computer and the 128MB Ram was just good enough for most of the computer games. Then after a series of upgrades continuously today I use a G Hz dual core machine with 2 GB ram and a 160 GB hard disk and all that space somehow feels is not enough for me. Thanks to the revolution in information around the world and the improvement in semiconductor technology today we afford 10 times greater performance that 5 years ago but at the same price or maybe at a lesser price.

Thanks for your useful response
You are right technology has improved a lot.
Even I was facing trouble with my 160 GB Hard drive, so I purchased an external Hard drive of 250 GB.
