My eye water alot when I yawn, other then that, not too much. This is the time of year for allergies to bother you, that might be the problem. Hope you have a good day Marcie. Its raining here and chilly too, at least its not snow, hehe.

Allergins and sudden, intense light will cause your eyes to water. Both cause an irritation to your sinus cavity which upsets the eyes and causes them to water. Not sure how to stop it from happening, except maybe to avoid sudden bright lights, or extremely bright lights.

This happens to me to, but mostly in the spring and in the fall. That's the time of year when my seasonal allergies are kicked in full force. I don't usually have that with a head cold, mainly just with the pollen allergies. That would be hard to live with if it happened all the time!

Thanks for b.r. :-) Hope your eyes aren't watering today and that you are having a super good day! Mine are watery today, I'll have to watch the news at noon and see what the pollen count is lol.

Hi,marciascott I still remember when it was a winter holiday,I played computer games for nearly 5 days, about 8 hours a day. After I finally finished the game,my eyes become red and tears just stream down if I open my eyes.It was terrible!I think they are similare feelings. Have a nice day!

My eyes water if my husband goes outside to smoke, and does not completely exhale before coming in, or when i can really smell strong smoke on his clothes. One day i went with him to the optometrist, and she happened to see my eyes watering, so she gave me some eye drops to use if it ever happens again. I haven't had to use them lately, but they are good to have around, incase I need them again some day.

I cry a lot. I do have allergies, but mostly it is too much phlegm and I do cry for no reason, so that could be something else. I always thought it was due to overtiredness or I got a eyelash hair in my eye. And I do suffer from low grade depression that means either I am numb or I cry a lot. So it could be that is why it happens.

Actually never because I have no allergies. When my eyes water for a bit it means I am a saaad little panda.

Hi marcia I wouldn't say my eyes water any more than anyone elses! They water when I yawn or sometimes when it is windy, when I sneeze but no more than anyone else I would say!!

This is a siron because I used to get my eyes wet two years ago and I did take it lightly. Lately my eyes have bigger problems than watering and the doctors say that it was due to the fact that I didn't take care of my eyes when it was letting water out. I was asked to wear glasses after that!

It also happen to me every time that I get cold but if I don't have a cold my eye feel so dry so I always bring my eye drop for dry eyes so it can moisturize my eyes. I don't know why my eyes feels so dry so I just always bring the dropper with me every where I go. But there is also a moment that i'm watching television and playing in the computer and the water from my eyes keeps coming out.
