When you walk alone while going somewhere do you feel a bit conscious of yourself or awkward. I feel odd sometimes when I walk to the bus stop. When I am already there Its still okey since numerous people are standing there for the different buses.I prefer wearing dark glasses which saves me from unnecessary attentions, and I really feel confident. Do you face similar situations, share please.

No, I don't feel odd walking anywhere alone and I never want to hide behind dark glasses. Perhaps if I was a celebrity, I might feel the need to hide, but then a celebrity probably wouldn't be walking to a bus stop.
I'm not disturbed if someone looks at me while I'm walking. After all, I do the same thing. It's natural to look around you as you walk or stand around. I take natural precautions when I walk; I don't walk alone if it's dark or walk in bad neighborhoods. And I rarely listen to music with headphones (unless the sound is low) so I can be aware of what's going on around me.

Hi, love2talk! Well, I also feel that when walking alone in the bus stop. Maybe I need a companion to chat with. But if I'm walking alone in the street where no one can see me, I feel confident because no one can notice that I was walking alone.
