Floppy,CD,DVD----USB whats next?

its been a long travel from floppy,cd,dvd to pendrive. its almost shrinking in size but not in innovation. what do you think will be the newer soon in future. what do you feel about this dramatic changes over the past 25 years

I think you don't know about the blu-ray disk. Blu-ray disk size is same as that of CD or DVD but it can contain 25GB data. The playing time for movies is 120 min or 2 hours. I think its a achievement. 25GB in a single disk is not a matter of joke. If you are taking backup of your documents other than audio, video, game etc then you might not fully fill the disk in your entire life. LOL

I haven't been here in this world that long but I can see what you mean.
Everyday, human beings are moving forward. We are never stopping on going forward.
And these changes can be seen in our scientific community.
Well, I have read in a science magazine that they are making our DNAs into storage devices that won't be destroyed even if we multiply and multiply.

DVD will never exit the market...blu ray disc is in progress...pen drives are the most super data travelling device now days...i hope pen drives will expand their storage capacity in future...blu ray disc will be the next revolution...
