I am using a trackball. It is from Logitech. My husband has two here in our house. One white and one black. I prefer using this because my palm is at rest. My wrist is not rubbing against the pad. I am rolling the ball to move the cursor and arrow. At first I did not know how to use it but I found it easier to use than an ordinary computer mouse. Your hand gets tired when you use mouse. So better use a trackball. What about you what you do use and why?

I have a laptop, so I use the touch pad. Its a bit convenient that traditional mouse devices when it comes to rubbing the hand against the pad. Here, I just need to run my fore finger!!
I have never used a track ball, just read about it and seen few pictures of it. But I feel using it would be really convenient!!

I hate trackballs. I guess I'm used to using a mouse and I like to play games sometimes and playing with trackball is a painful experience.

I have tried using trackball during college and really, it was kind of uncomfortable to use it. I keep having pains on my palm and fingers after using it. I am much comfortable using the mouse because it's quite dynamic in a sense that i can move it anywhere within the area. I guess it just depend on what we are accustomed to use. If you are comfortable with trackball, then i guess it is more advisable for you to use it.
