Have you ever been hit by a car?

One day me and my friend were walking home from school and as he crossed the highway, a truck slamed in to him. I could only watch in horror as I heard the crushing sound of his bones snapping againt the pavement. Has anyone experiance either side of this situation?

I think I can gladly say that I have never been hit by a car and nor do I care for anyone to try. 
I think I am fine. This would just be horrible I would think and can you imagine the excruciating pain that person must feel.
