why it's called "googling" ?

we have a many kind of search engine, yahoo, astalavista, google, and many others but... why the word for 'go search the seach engine' is called googling, why must it be google ? can anyone give me a good answer, not just 'because google is popular' or at least the chronological history so people this day use the word googling.
