Verification of AlertPay account

I wanted to ask that is it necessary to go through that verification step in alertpay. I am actually not interested in it. But my alertpay shows zero balance, but i have actually earned some money from a few websites that pay through alertpay. Does anyone know what the matter can be.If i can't withdraw my money, atleast i should be able to see it in my alertpay account. Can anyone help me???
