How do you find airplane foods? I read somewhere before that there are some airplane foods which tastes like paper. Since then, I'd check on it and compare. So far, the ones that I really find tasty are those served by the Thai Airways. The first time I rode on their plane was about twenty years ago and the food seems better as years passed. There were planes though that would just give you a small pack of biscuit and that's it. How about you? Which airlines do you think serves the best foods? or the worst ones?

Hello there!!! I am working as a flight attendant and i do have something to say on this disscusion :) The aircraft food is the safest you can ever eat belive it or not, The taste depends from airline to airline because they usually try to give their traditional food, so now depends what kind of food you like. The amont of food u'll be given in the flight depends of how long the flight is. I've been flying with a lot of airlines of the world and my favourite is etihad airline. The are mixing the food choices and even though you fly economy class they do treat you as if you'd be in first class. The worst i've ben flying with it was Lufthansa . The flight attendants are so rude and even though i've had a 4 hours flight they serve only a sandwich. so my advice try etihad airline and ''see how we shine''..:P Happy Mylotting :)

Thanks for the info. Now I can really say that your bosses should give you a raise. Maybe one of these days I'll get to try the foods in your airline.

Lol! Local flights suck! Cebu Pacific flights for example doesn't offer food at all. You have yo buy them. 50 for a pack of Chippy. I didn't know that exchange rate up in the air is pretty weird and Chippy isn't even imported. lol! Well PAL on the other hand offers coffee and biscuit. They also offered Sampaloc candy one time on my way to Manila. lol!

You'd better bring your own baon then. One of my friends told me the same thing. Just imagine if you'll travel for several hours.

There are very times that i have really enjoyed the food served on airlines served here in our country. It certainly has improved over the years, but i'd still think there is a lot of scope of improvement and conistency.

Well base on my experience, the best food i tasted was Cathay Pacific but now when i flew back to my country they served less and not that delicious anymore unlike before. Maybe they are in cost cutting so the goodies have been eliminated like their ice cream and infinite juice servings. I also like the service of Gulf Air when me and my brother took a vacation in Bahrain. Although i am sure that they have been cost cutting too and the food doesn't taste delicious like before. The worst air service i think were local plane travels where they don't serve you anything like water only. Some offer candies, but the most offer bottled water. It was one of the flights we took going to Goa.

I rode the Qatar airlines 5 years ago. Aside from it being spacious and clean, the food is also good. They serve heavy meals. Rice and tasty chicken with some vegetables. They also serve good snacks. Their fruit salad is nice. Cebu pacific is worst, you have to buy your very expensive snack from the plane employees. You even don't have a choice as it is limited. sandwich and cap noodles. Lol

Absolutely true. Bringing your own "baon" is done by others to avoid the costly food items.
