Is your desk in clutters or clean?

Hi Mimpi!Recently my colleague remarked thet he feels scared to search for any thing inside my desk drawer!.Says he might find snakes or scorpion inside!.My desk is cluttered and I am so lazy to declutter it.Sometimes my friends in the work place do it for me or sometimes they force me to organize it.Once someone told me that my boss is organising an award for the most cluttered desk and I was the unanimous choice for the award!!Lol!

my desk top and my drawer are cluttered, lol. Waht does that tell you about me? They used to say tidy desk tidy mind when I worked in an office but now I'm just at home I only have room for a to do pile on top and a useful things drawer, lol.

Let's see now. The office table top clean, yes because those are the strict instructions given at the office. When you leave the office there should be nothing on the table. So where does it all go ? The first dawere, full, recent stuff. The second one full again, and that happened 3 months back, and the last one...i can't tell you since when that has been full.. It's different at home, .. both are cluttered.

Hi! Mimpi! My desk remains clean, however, please do not ask me to reveal about drawers. I have three huge drawers in my office table and all are filled with various documents and books. I just feel that everything should be available to me, without moving towards my cupboard, therefore, I try to keep everything handy with me and with the result drawers get cluttered. I know it is not good and we should have organised drawers, but sometimes laziness overtakes our wishes.

I'm a very organized person I don't like my things scattered everywhere. Specially on my desk where my laptop is located and I have some work to do. I just thought when I saw things in clutters I can't think I feel that my life is jumble too.

My desk is currently really badly cluttered, but I know where everything is! lol. We have just moved house so still trying to find everything and find homes for everything, so clutter is everywhere at the moment. I am not the neatest/tidiest person at best, but with more space to move, I am hoping that I will be able to keep our house (and especially my desk) a bit tidier. I notice you don't mention if your own desk is cluttered or not. Not game to share? lol.

i am guilty,when guests are expected at home and there lot of clothes lying outside,i just bundle up the clothes and push it beneath the bed but i like to keep everything neat,that includes my desk too.first ,i clean on the outside,that means cluttered drawers but later on i clean out the drawers too.

I have an absolutely clean desk.It is sp&c and span.I can even see my face reflected in it. ANy one who comes home marvels at the absolute organized way I keep my desk and say 'how do you manage all this within 24 hours?'. Now why is there no emoticon mylot code for'sigh'.--THis is all I would love to write, but unfortunately it is a case of 'if wishes were horses----'My computer table has some papers strewn on it, my three pairs of spectacles and a bottle of water.,and a tissue paper to wipe my specs, some small clippings from a paper, a text book.hmmmm! I just kept them neatly before writing out the response; but it is not too bad.Otherwise, some others are not too satisfactory--, a clean desk and a cluttered drawer.Just stuff them all in and out of sight, the less eyesore.

I try to keep my desk as clean as possible but with a small room and two people living in the room, it's really hard to keep it clean, especially being a busy student. I try to go through at the end of each day and clean it as best as I can, put things back in their places and what not, but it is sometimes hard.

-lol- know what? that is so true in my case. i have very organized desk drawers, all six of them... not a thing out of place. but my table... that's a different thing. -lol- i have all sorts of clutter on my table, and not all of them mine. people coming and going out of the room seems to use my table surface for their little stuff too. 4 cellphones, papers, folders, cds, mobile discs and an assortment of personal items of my brother and cousin seems to be occupying my table. maybe it's because all those have been used so recently. :) i wouldn't be comfortable with cluttered desk drawers because that would mean, i'd have a hard time looking for little things i would need. it's easier to organize a cluttered table... i'll just inform everyone to remove all their belongings on my table or else find them in the trash. -lol- i'll have a clean table in a matter of 2 minutes. :)

Well let's see...I have a desk and it is quite orderly only because I took time not long ago to give it a thorough clean; it had not been done for over a year! I lifted everything off the desk including the computer and it is all spotless now. I went through the drawers and although they are full they are organized believe me! I am working on the dining room table with my trusty laptop these days and that's getting pretty cluttered now. I have a tray that is full of 'bit and bobs' but I know where everything is trust me! You do believe me don't you?

As much as possible, i want to keep my desk as clean as possible. I gives me more space to move around and i am happy when my things are very organized. Aside fom those, keeping your desk clean say something about your personality. It portrays your attitude towards everything.

uhn... a clean desk and clutter drawer. I may feel uncomfortable in a so clean place. a little bit clutter is better. not dirty. but a little bit clutter. I think a so clean room looks like no one living here. There are less things on my desk. and the drawer no one can open it except myself~

Compare with the desk at home, my desk in the office is more clean. I alway pick up the things on it for the area not enough. When there is a little time before work off, I use to put all my personal thing on desk into drawer and lock it. The interesting thing of mine is, I hardly wipe the desk every day. In stead of rag I wear a duty coat during working time, take it back to home and wash after a period. About the desk at home, it cannot keep tidy more than three days even I clean up.

I have a very cluttered desk. I do try to clean it off fairly regularly. We can't have a cluttered desk drawer because our young son gets into it. So, it all stays on the top! At least until I break down and clean it up.

I try to keep my desk cleaned off, but it does occasionally get the typical build up of papers (bills, notes, etc...) I'm always writing something down on a notepad or clean sheet of printer paper, and they normally get pushed aside or to the back of my desk. I have a cubby hole on the right rear of my desk (I don't have a desk drawer) and that's where I try to keep most of the important papers that I need. I recently moved my computer from the basement to my dining room (the dining room is the only room that I could figure out how to run the line for the internet from the basement, outside, and up through the window seats) so it has been much easier for me to keep it clean, just for the fact that I don't want a cluttered looking desk in the room where we sit as a family to eat our meals.

Hey mimpi! I try to keep my desk fairly neat! It does get cluttered from time to time and when it gets to messy and full of papers I do clean it! And when the draws get to messy and I just can't find anything I start to clean them and organized them too! I don't like when I just can't find anything that I need! I have alot of very important papers right now that I have to be able to get my hands on right away so I am really trying to keep up with the mess and keep things in order!

As far as I believe my desk is a little mess with my drawer being a little mess too but that is not the case if someone's due to visit my house. Then I use to make my desk a cleaner one with all the stuffs inside my drawer. Most of the time they don't open drawer because even if they would like to, they cant because I always keep my drawer close:

Everything I do is cluttered, and trust me my desk is very cluttered right now, I cleaned it off this morning, well sorta, I moved some papers around and cut out some coupons I had printed and now its buried again with other paperwork I've printed out; LOL! Its a never ending mess of clutter here!!! LOL!

To be honest I find it really hard to concentrate if the surface of my desk is cluttered. It has a bad effect on my mind and I cannot focus so I do try and keep the top of my desk tidy. I am quite guilty of having a messy desk drawer though . There is just nowhere else to put everything!
