this just popped on my mind while i was researching a few things a while ago..
i'm just wondering.. do you guys prefer using www.domain.ext (like www.mylot.com) or would you simplify things and just use the domain name only (mylot.com)?

yeah.. it just popped on my mind out of the blue.. hehe..
i guess its because of the fact that i've been using the net for so long and i've ignored the www part for way too long. hehe..

It depends. Some browsers gives you an URL line with "www." filled in. In these case, I'm used to just add the domain without erasing the www. . If I have to do it all myself, I usually skip the www. and just write domain.ext .
I sometimes run into problems with domain without www. prefix because some domains doesn't point the same place with and without the prefix. If I get a 404 or similar error when I don't use www. prefix I have no choice, I just have to put www. front of the domain.ext .

well.. i agree on that one.. hehe.. its just way easier to ignore the www part since its not usually required.
