Jun Lozada the whistleblower of the ZTE-GTE deal was arrested 3 days ago for perjury. According to Jun Lozada that's the life now here in in our country, you'll get arrested by saying the truth. Sad to hear. How about you, my dear kababayans could you share your views regarding this?

Well that is the reality today. The powerful people can hold of people who are less powerful.

Well Politics is really dirty so it's really goodbye for whistleblowers. But I wouldn't call Jun Lozada a very truthful man. He himself has issues concerning his honesty, intentions and reputation as a corrupt official himself. Just like the one who sent ERAP out of MalacaƱang. He too was just as guilty but now he's like a hero.

I have to disagree that this is a warning for whistle blowers. It is more of being able to substantiate your claim when you accuse someone of kidnapping. Did Lozada filed a case against those who he accused for kidnapping? If he did, it is just normal that the perjury case is a counter case of what he filed. If he did not, what made him not to? By not filing, then those Lozada accused will have more reason for filing the case.
I pity Lozada's situation. But this recent development, if I am someone who know something about corrupt government practices, will not stop me from exposing what is need to be exposed. We have but short life here on earth and let us not make it shorter by living in apathy and letting evil triumph without making a stand and fight.
