Who Do YOU Think Killed Jon Benet Ramsey?

This subject is of major interest to me. I have two books on the subject. One written by Patsy Ramsey and one written by the cop who says she did it. I watched the debate they had on television. I was excited when they arrested that guy, but still not convinced, and then they said it wsn't him, so the curiosity has been renewed. How do you explain the six page ransom note in Patsy's handwriting? The fact that it asks for ransom the exact amount of John's bonus check? The fact that they told the cops nobody else was awake when they called 9-1-1 but the enhanced 9-1-1 tape has Patsy telling the son to go back to bed, he has done quite enough or something to that effect. Do you think the damage had been done and they could not bring Jon Benet back so they decided, "Why ruin our son's life over this?" and did a cover up for him? I think he passed a lie detector test though, I don't recall, it has been awhile since I have read the books. What do you think and why? I think if Patsy didn't do it, she at least knows something . . . perhaps helped cover up something . . . but now that she is deceased, we may never know. Please give me your take on the whole thing! Share what you know and what you suspect. This is of great interest to me since I have had to post it twice now, the first time resulting in a blank white screen!

honestly i dont know much about it, i assumed that the guy they just picked up that was bragging about doing it, had in fact done it. But the more i hear about it I do believe the mother had something to do with it, if in fact she did not do it herself

Well it was definitely a thought out plot. To have written a 4 page ransom note, he/she would've either had to write it before the coming into the house to commit the crime, or have a lot of time to sit there in the Ramsey house, find some paper and a writing utensil and still have time to kill the girl and get out all before the Ms. Ramsey woke up.

I hate saying this and i should not but i have thought about that little girl soo many times and i believe the person is alive that knows who did it and the person passed away that did it.

That's interesting. I never read the books, or saw the debate, though I did watch the primetime movie. I've always leaned toward beliving the mom did it. I've always had an image of them being in the bathroom and she lost her temper with her poor daughtwer. I felt the child was robbed of her childhood too, having to work. I figure the mother had to be demanding to make her daughter be a littl star, and mini woman (which I find unhealthy, when little girls are made up and dressed to look like grown women). I lived with a demanding mother, so know a little bit of what that might be like.. demands, anger.. I believe her murder was a mistake, then it became a cover up. And watching the movie, I felt sorry for the father.. I don't remember a brother.. And don't remember the movie all that well.. except it did seem to me, the cop believed the mother had something to do with it..

The only story I see as leading to a family member would be if their son did it--and, probably, did it by accident. He might have meant to have a fight with his sister over something but didn't intend to kill her. Since our society has, too often, become one demanding retribution, the family might have decided to do as the Amish do and keep things in the family so that Burke wouldn't be traumatized by being taken away from them, tried as an adult, and getting (at the tender age of around ten) life in prison without parole.
Having said that, I actually believe that this might have been done by terrorists, because I've heard that some of the writing--as well as some of the content--that was part of the note was written by someone who not only didn't speak English as a first language but, also, sounded like some of these people who have been holding people hostage and beheading them.

This is such a tragic case. I don't believe Patsy did it. It was a terribly mismanaged case. The police had a one track mind and I believe they had many potential leads they didn't follow because they were so locked in on her parents being suspects.

I don't understand what possibly could have happened, I haven't read the books but I thought they said they had DNA to match, why can't they use that on all the family members, I don't understand any of it....that poor little girl....

I think it was eother the mom or dad as if i believe they said she was sexually asaulted to and her body was hidden in a room of the home that only the parents knew about.I have always thought that the son seen what happened and was to scared to tell anyone what he saw.Maybe he was threatened by both parents if he said anything something bad would happen to him.I know it is an awful crime and i don't understand how anyone could do such a thing to there own child.

It was her brother. The parent's were covering up for him. After losing one child they didn't want to lose the other.Yes,he passed a lie detector but that would be simple enough for a child since they don't yet have a real sense of right and wrong.I can understand why he did it,jealousy. You can't focus on one child, you have to treat them equaly. It's a tragic ending to a sad story.

I don't know who did it, but I don't think it was her family
