Different dimensions?

Theoretically there can exist different dimensions though there has been no physical evidence like photos or pictures taken of the other dimension. I do not know about the situation in other countries but in my country there are people who have been to another dimension. Nevertheless the items that they brought back may be said to be fakes since most are similar to the ones that can be found in our physical world. One dimension is the one 'belonging' to the genies, a general term used for invisible creatures. They have their own different cultures and even more diverse than our world. Many scoff at this but several changed their minds after given a chance to see what their settlements look like. As far as I know no one really knows the number of dimensions in this universe, though I read in a book more than 20 years ago there are 10,000 parallel universes. This claim was made by a religious person. Is it possible to travel between the dimensions? Most probably yes, but it would require certain technological advances to have a smooth travel.
