I would prefer a billionaire. Most would say that having plenty of money is being selfish but it's not. I would love to have lots of money to help more people. Sharing is good for every body. Money is really important nowadays and it affects every aspect of our life.

50 filthy rich of course! If I was a billionaire I would have gotten everything I wanted in my life at that age already so I wouldn't mind dying anymore especially if I already knew I would die at 50. I would have prepared myself for the end and would have taken care of things that I would leave to my family when I pass. Who would want to live poor for 500 yrs? I wouldn't even want to live til 80 with all the hardship in life.

according to me I choose the first option of living the life of 50 Years since living such a long life doesnot make any sense, 500 yrs is such a long period of time to live, I choose 50 years because there are various thing that you can do in your life but life shows as good as well as bad aspects of life whether you have money or not..I only want to say that live small but live happy....

IT depends on what you consider "poor" someone scraping by or someone who has nothing and lives on the street?
Depending on if it was the just scraping by poor, well I'm already living that *LOL* I'd like to give being a Billionaire a try though ;0) And with being a billionaire maybe do thing things I'd like to do and help the people I'd like to now but can't.

That is an interesting question. I would rather prefer life over money, simply because I don't think money is the determining factor for happiness, after a certain basic level of sustainance. If however you meant something like living in sorrow instead of happiness, then I think I would prefer a short happy life. I believe you can always find ways to be happy, and 500 years is quite a good time for that!

If you have the two choice merely, the first will come to me first.Especially under the market economy situation, money is very very important, we cant go anywhere without money.the poor will be and being under the ground will never share the sunlight from the goverment, never share the faithful service of the so-called public facilities. a 50-year-old billionaire will be the better option.
