what will you do to make you sleep

sometimes, i cannot sleep early. i have lots of things that comes out in my mind unintentionally that makes me sleep late. i'm just wondering what are the things that you do to make you fell asleep as soon as you lie down on your bed.

it's hard to say,i can fall asleep when i lie down on my bed, someone said that you can drink a bottle of milk before u go to bed,,e,maybe one or two hours before sleeping,and you can do exercise when you get up in the morning,eat well,and so on,that all can help you to sleep early,

Hi xannebull! I listen to nature sounds such as a waterfall. I also take tylenol p.m. Sometimes I will drink chamomile tea or hot chocolate. I read my bible before I go to sleep. I also try counting to 100. Kathy.

Tylenol is a pain reliever. There is tylenol you can take during the daytime and tylenol you can take at night. This is called "tylenol p.m." They have also come out with a tylenol you can take for allergy symptoms. I've forgotten what the name of it is exactly. Actually, my real name is "Kathy". I just gave myself the name "Cyrus" on mylot because that's my favorite country music singer's name. His name is "Billy Ray Cyrus". Have you ever heard of him? I started a discussion about him when I first joined mylot. He first came on the scene with "Achy Breaky Heart"in 1992. Kathy.

sleep - by closing your eyes
close your eyes and think of a white or black space. i've read it from a column. it's effective for me. try that.or before going to bed drink milk. never drink coffee at night. it will make you awake for hours.

I have an insomnia and i have been suffering from it for years.. yay! as much as i wanted to sleep early and have an eight hout sleep, i can't.. maybe, my health condition has something to do with it.. i usually go to bed around 3 in the morning.. sometimes, with that time, i still can't sleep.. what i usually do to help me fall asleep is i play with my pink nintendo ds lite..

your nintendo will do a big help in your insomnia. i dont really know what's the reason why people are having insomnia. you just toss and turn at your bed because you cannot go to sleep. i sometimes suffer that one .

Good day, xannebull. Well, when I can't sleep, I usually make myself tired. Sometimes I do some workout like push up and when I got tired, it's time to sleep. This was effective to me. You should try it also or when you are still awake and can't sleep, visit mylot. Enjoy..=)

ok boogerman, i will try that one. maybe reading books and novels would help i think. because it will make you feel sleepy, especially reading novels that has a boring story.

i will make my room comfortable. spray some cologne to my body. and turn on the radio tape with soft music. it will soon make me sleep :)

yeah you're right jel, i do sometimes play with my cellphones to make me feel sleepy. but now i get bored with the same games which my cellphones have.

Hello xannebull. I usually surf online before going to bed. And when I feel tired, I get offline and start to sleep. It doesn't take me long to fall asleep. I have a habit of listening to the radio for a little while before falling asleep. When I feel that I will fall soon, I turn it off and to fall asleep is like a piece of cake to me. By the way, if I keep my mind active during sleeping, it will be hard to fall asleep. So a better way to make me sleep is not to think about anything that might disturb the quality of my sleep. Enjoy yourself, friend.

Hi, xannebull I take a shower, brush my teeth and dress comfortably before going to bed. I also say a little prayer before going to sleep. However, when things in mind really bother me too much that I cannot sleep, my prayer would be longer. Drinking water also helps me sleep. Take care!

There are different reasons why I occassionaly find it difficult to sleep right away. I normally would fall asleep not later than 10 minutes after I lie down but then again I do so very late, after 12 midnight. At times that I can't sleep right away, I take a shower (warm water) drink warm milk, listen to soft slow music, pray the rosary, zzzzzzzzzzzz.

listen to a music or playing the lullaby (of Twilight), that would make me feel asleep as soon i lie down in my bed. sometimes, when i cannot sleep right away what i do is go and get read a book or magazine then next thing i know its morning already. better yet, go count from 1 - 100. that's the advice given to me when i was young, you can try it.

i'm not yet familiar of twilight. i've been reading that one always on the internet but i have'nt heard of that song yet. i will try searching for it now and try listening too. counting too does a lot of works but a little bit tiring.

well i just make myself comfortable. because maybe, you're body is in the wrong position. you've got to find the most comfortable position for your body, to be able to sleep well and quickly. drink milk before going to bed. what else. mmmm, let's see, take a shower so you would feel refresh before going to sleep. i guess that's all i can think of! anyways, happy earning!

you're tzaddi, one factor is the position of sleeping.if i am not on my position while sleeping, i cant sleep as soon as i go to bed. i must see to it that i am in the exact position so i can sleep as soon as possible.
