Why do we have 2 ears, 2 eyes, but only one mouth?

It's for 3 dimmensional purposes if I had to guess. I don't know if science ever answered this one. Might be worth researching!

Your ears and eyes are for sensing things. We have two of them so we can hear and see in three dimensions. I guess you taste with your mouth, but taste is a dimensionless sensation.
