Do you think my friend who is 25 YO can marry his BF 55 YO

My friend is in relationship with a 55 YO guy, she loves him and I remember in the begining he didn't want to have a relationship with her, he sad it was "absurd"...but my friend insisted, now she needs to tell her family and his father whoi is same age as his BF???!!!
