need recipes

I know of a really easy one for kids. Layer sliced bananas, sliced pineapple, coconut flakes, and honey in a cake pan. I can usually put a layer of each ingrediant twice in a cake pan. Then top it with cool whip. Refridgerate it for 20 to 30 minutes. Some kids do not like coconut so you could always omit that.

How about some chocolate covered pretzels? All you need are pretzels, some choclate (any kind) and a large microwavable bowl. Have an adult melt the chocolate and let the kids dip the pretzels in it. For younger kids I suggest using the larger pretzels or the pretzel rods. When they have "dunked" them they can go a little crazy and dip them in things like crushed peanuts, Mini M&M's or dried fruit. It's inexpensive and kids have a lot of fun making them. Make sure you have some wax paper to put them on while they are hardening up. Even if you have to put them in the refrigerator for a couple minutes, the whole thing takes less than 40 minutes from start to finish.
