Could You or Would You Disown Your Children?

Would you be able to disown your children? I've put some thought into this after last month with my father. I don't think I would be able to do that. They would have to do something really,really horiible for that to happen. And then they are still my children, I don't think that I could do it. Could you/would you disown your children? What would they have to do for you to disown them? I'm just wondering as to how other people feel. Thanks for any responses.
