Is where you live affected by swine flu?
There's been no confirmed cases in my state [Idaho], but one woman who got back from Texas a few days ago is reporting she may have it now.
I hope swine flu can get under control soon. D:

Yes I am affected in my state. I live in Texas and they are shutting down alot of events and one whole school district has closed their whole district for two weeks. Kids in my sons class are staying home because they are afraid their kids will catch it.

3 confirmed cases in my city, 13 total in the surrounding area, 51 total in the country.
They didn't bother closing down the one school in the city that's been affected by this, instead they sanitized the school and the kids can return on Monday as normal.
All they did was send the kid home when he reported that he didn't feel well.

A couple cases, yeah xD and in the neighboring states as well -- I live in Ohio.
It's been interesting to watch this virus travel.

I live in AZ and our first case was confirmed yesterday. They have already begun to shut schools down and such. I am not going to worry too much about it until the symptoms begin to becoem more severe. I think it is great to be cautious, but I think that government is beginning to purposefully strike fear into the public. So much for trying to turn the economy around...scare people into staying inside and not travelling or going out of the house to spend money!!

There has been 1 report in my country as of speaking, they think that a maximum of 25% of the country will get swine flu, and they have about 6 million vaccines. I hope that that will be enough... By the way, the bird flu was worse than this, and that didn't spread a lot (basically because it didn't infect human-on-human, but still...)
