My Adsense applicationn

I am really upset with adsense.I have a blog on blogspot.I applied to Adsense and was told that I would get a reply to my application in about a week.It has been a month and I have heard nothing from Adsense.I went to their site to find help.There is not a place on the site that is even close to helping with my application process problem.Also there is no contact place on the site either.Therefore I attempted to reapply and was told at the end that there already is an application pending for that site.I try to login I am told the same thing. There are many people online saying that they earn a lot of money from Adsense.Then there are a lot more people that say that they don't earn from them.I also here that there is Google making money program.The site confuses me.Is Adsense seperate from Google.Or are they together?
