So here i am finally living on my own and i am thinking of getting a dog. There are a couple of dogs that i have always wanted but have never been able to have cause my parents didn't want a dog :( But as i live in a small apartment i was thinking about getting a italian greyhound as the other two dogs i like are bigger ones, a irish wolfhound and the greyhound. I have done some research and found out that the bigger dogs probably wont do so well in a small apartment but the italian greyhound will probably do just fine in this kinda situation, but i was hoping to get some feedback on what other people think. Please let me know!!!!!

Italian greyhounds seem to be the smallest of the greyhounds and they are about 15inches at withers. So yes he might be suitable if you live in an apartment but make sure that he gets enough exercise. That you take him out regularly and he has plenty of room for exercise. Perhaps there is a park beside you.

Definitely get a dog. Italian Greyhound sound good. Even the big ones should be fine. You'll just need to walk him more often. It doesn't really matter what kind of dog you get, you know you're going to love him.

oh btw today is my dog's birthday. Ok, I don't know the exact date she was born but the guy that gave her to me said it was around May so we always celebrated it on the May first.

Cats are easier to care for in an apartment, but if you get a dog just make sure to take care of him and make sure he gets walked at least once a day and you take him to a park to play.
