How long does it take for your kid or yourself to spill

something saucy and red on yourself? For my daughter it was one bite tonight. She got a treat. Chef Boyardee Lasagna with her spinach leaves. She scooped up a bite and boom! 1 bite. She isn't yet 6. So I had her take off the shirt. She sat and finished her meal shirtless. Yep you got it. One time she went through 3 shirts in one meal. Easier to clean her skin!

My son is not so bad about it, but I swear my daughter is constantly getting stuff on her shirt, her pants, other peoples clothes. Today it was chocolate and not red sauce. She decided to sneak some dark chocolate. When she realized she did not like it she started to let it dribble out of her mouth while she told me she did not like it. All over her hoodie, her pants, and on my pants too.

You think that's bad? I just found a mural of peanut butter on the bedroom
mirror. She painted with peanut butter! Can you believe it?

I'd just leave them in the same shirt they already got messy. What's the sense in changing clothes when it's already stained? Just wait until they're done with the food.

I'm with you kat. I leave the twins in the same clothes and they are changed when they have finished eating. Makes sense to me too.

I know exactly how that is because my little sister is a Ravioli, spaghetti o's,and spaghetti and meatball lover. And it can be messy. She ends up with it on her clothes every time never fails..and on her face. Thank goodness for SHOUT laundry stain remover. Never be caught without it.

For me, I usually can eat my meal and just about be finished before I end up spilling something on myself. I'm not sure why it works out that way, but it always seems to. It's usually my second to last bite. I hate it too because it's always on clothes that stain the worst too.
