Please do help me regarding this problem with my PC

I have a COMPAQ PC supported with a DUAL CORE processor...recently i am facing a problem with it..the system is working very properly as long as i'm working but when i start it after shutting it down the system is rebooting twice or thrice.. i was vexed with this problem .. i am not enough patient regarding this problem i have checked my self all my system but i couldn't find any problem..so i wish my dear lotters you may help me..
