Do You Wear Dentures?

Today my brother-in-law told me he lost his bottom plate. He has had dentures for ten years and always takes the bottom plate out so he can eat. This time he put it in his pocet, not realizing there was a hole in the pocket, and it dropped out somewhere. He finally found it in his driveway right before he ran over it. I've had full dentures for 15 years and they have never fit well enough that I don't have to use adhesive of some kind. Teeth are such an important part of your self-image. Do you have problems with dentures that your denturist can't fix? Do you have to remove them to eat? (When You're alone, of course) Do you have to carry adhesives with you? Did you have trouble talking when you first got them? What do you think about implants? Are they painful in cold weather?
