I have a cocker spaniel, named Misha. I would love to add a cat to our family too. It's really sweet when cat's and dogs get along. It's my deepest desire to have a lot of cats, and dogs under one roof, living in perfect harmony. Sounds cool doesn't it?? It's liking having a a slice of heaven on earth. Hah Ha!!

I am more of a dog person if given a chance to have one. I grew up with dogs when I was a kid. I pretty much see dogs are more loyal to us humans than cats are. They are pretty much independent and sometimes you could not play with them. Dogs can be trained and is really a good follower and would protect you if they find you threatened.

i think if you truely love animals that would be wonderful. i've always wanted the same thing as you. and including lots of other animals. just never had a place to do that. i've had both cats and dogs that get along and lots of others but now no room for them.

It was my dream to run a shelter, but I sadly don't have enough money to start one. So instead I plan on volunteering myself in a nearby shelter. That way, I get to see animals of all sorts under one roof. I really love animals, especially the cuddly ones.
Anyways, thanks for your comment..

There is nothing more that I would like to do than to have a cat as well as my small dog Roxy Raphael as she loves cats and feel that the companionship of a cat would be very good for her.
Overall, I am a dog person. I like cats and had cats all through my childhood but as an adult I prefer to own a dog than a cat.
There is a cat up the street that my dog gets along with very well. The sweetest cat. They meet and sniff noses. A sight to behold.
It does sound good to have the cats and dogs all under one roof living in perfect harmony. that would be awesome.
I have declined getting a cat however because we are always on the go and it wouldn't be fair to have to leave the cat at home while we are out playing, walking and visiting.
Although if we had a cat, the dog would likely enjoy staying home. Right now she rather come with me than stay at home alone.

I am a dog person. I love dogs so much. Any types of dogs. It doesn't matter. In fact, i have a dog right now and his name is Moochie. He's the best dog i've had in years. He is not smart but i don't know, he is special. I don't like cats really because i think they steal food on the table unlike dogs. I think it's easier to manage or take care of a dog than cats.

I am a dog person, as I have two dogs, a bichon named Happy and a pomeranian named Buttercup. They always try to attack cats when I walk them, so not sure that cats and tham could live together comfortably. I do walk them everyday while the weather is fit and they try to get at dogs then too. Most of the time they are good dogs. They will sit in my easy chair with me while I am on the computer and watching tv, and they follow me all over the house. There isn't one place that I can go, that they don't follow, including the bathroom lol. My one dog likes to look in the toilet and watch it flush lol. She hasn''t tried to drink out of it yet though and I hope she doesn't. She sometimes will put her paws on the tv when she sees other dogs, and she will bark at them, as if they could hear her lol. All in all, I love my dogs, and two is all I can handle lol.

Hi, dog person here for sure. I owned a cat many years ago. I did not want the cat. At the time my boyfriend talked me into getting the cat. He was ok, and did not act much like a cat. If someone knocked on the door he ran to it growing...yes, growling. I had him for 6 years. One day I went home and he attacked me, he latched onto my leg and tried to bite me. It's a long sad story, and it was a Sunday so little help available. The next day I had the human society get him - he had made a mess, pulled blankets down from shelves. They said he was making a nest to die in. No more cats for me. I was always a dog lover. I have a lab and she is 11 years old.

Dogs are good companions. So thats why I prefer dogs than cats. In my opinion cats are selfish while dogs are more loyal to their owners, they wait for you when you return back from work. They are funny and cute. I think they re more clean than cats.

I love cat and dog but right now I have cats only. They are three cats in the house. We used to have a dog but my mother doesnt want any pet. Since we have a cat with three colors, they say its lucky that's why we just kept her.

I love cats and my husband loves dogs (but dont worry, he likes cats too and I like dogs :). I could have more cats than you could count and be perfectly happy. My husband is the same way with dogs. So right now we have 5 cats and 1 dog and are looking to get our second dog here soon!

I like dogs more than cats. Dogs are much sweeter than cats. There are also lots of benefits of having a dog at home. Dogs also provide many health advantages than cats do.

At first I only like cats, because my family kept feeding cat sine I have sensible. For dogs, at first I am very afraid of them but cannot equal I don't like them. Afterward there was a thing let me turn to like dogs, the detail you can see one of discussions submit from me. Now my family just can feed cats, dogs are hardly to feed, maybe there are some chances in the future.

I love both dogs and cats, but if you are asking about which one i'd prefer to have as a pet, definitly a dog, a cat is too temperamental and agressive for my taste.
