How long did you court your girlfriend or how long did your boyfriend courted you before you became a couple?
There seems to be different figures on this subject. Instantly, a day, a week, a month, a year, or decades? (I hope it's not the latter)
It is part of my culture to have long courtships, however, there has been a new trend now, teens get involved in relationships in a shorter duration of courtship, some even forgo the whole process. he he he!
Anyway, share us your experience.

I am a very traditional person so I do want courtships that last long although that really isn't an assurance of a working and lasting relationship in the end. I know someone who has been courted for 7 years. And how I wished my lovelife had been like that. I guess I fell in love too easily when I said yes to my boyfriend after 2 years of courtship. Haha. Other people would go for just 2 weeks wihtout complaining.

I agree that there is no definite duration for courtship, however, there are some norms that we usually consider. But, in determining the actual number, I have no idea. hehehe.
Two years of courtship?!? At least you got to know him a lot better.
Cheers and good luck with your lovelife.

I think courtship is all up to the couple. My man and I are still in our courtship stage and lucky for us that it has been almost a year, or we would have made a big mistake. My aunt says that you should date/court for at least two years before you get serious.
