Why do I end up doing all the cleaning.

maybe you don't voice out your feelings loud enough? hehe or maybe they think you don't mind at all doing all the cleaning around the house. i believe that every person having the right to live in the same house has a responsibility to take care of it too, share in the household chores and such. everyone should take part in the cleaning and maintaining the house. even the kids... even the men in the house. you can talk to them one dinner time and explain the situation, make a point. make sure they listen and make sure they understand your point. then delegate. lighter tasks to the younger kids, heavier loads to other adults. have the patience in showing them how to do it and remember to praise them in their little hard work.

Have you tried talking with them? I believe that is the best approach most of the times, maybe it's just a communication problem, since they see that you do it all the time, they perhaps think that you dont mind doing all the housechores, or they might even be misled to think that you actually enjoy doing it.

That's bacause you're the only who are responsible and kind enough to volunteer to clean the mess. Maybe, you have no maids in your house and you're the only one who are not busy. Sometimes your parents, brother or sisters are not in your house or worst your teh favorite of your mother as her assistance and an expert in doing household works. So, don't bother about that anymore. Your parent must be proud with your attitude being a great helper in the house. Cheers up!!!

Try not to work one day. Let the house be a mess. If you see a portion of the house unclean, just let it stay there. Wait someone to clean it up. It is teaching your housemates the other way called reverse psychology. If the next day, its still the same, let it be. Control yourself of being guilty with all this unclean stuff because if you feel guilty. Believe me, you will end up cleaning again.
