As a kid, of course I adored wax crayons but now I realize, they're all smudgy and thick so I prefer to use color pencils nowadays but sometimes I still use them.
Well, the truth is I'm not actually really into coloring. I only color my sketches and drawings sometimes because I prefer to leave them in black and red ink... my favorite colors. I'm more satisfied with leaving it like that than using more colors.
'bout you?

I like to use color pencils really because of the neatness,if I'm ever going to color my sketches in. Usually I never really color them in, so I shade the my sketches with my pencil most of the time.

nice! i prefer it the way it is, too. The colors sometimes just ruin its beauty... i mean for my eyes. it's more beautiful with just the sketch itslef or with blabk and red ink.
But colors helps sometimes, too, of course but i prefer to use the two colors in ink.

I'm good with the charcoals and pencils. I sometime add colors like dry pastel depend if I feel like it needs colors or not. Often it looks just right the way it is. I'm made a good bunch of greeting cards on my website they are on display and for sale too.

my favorites were pastels becuase o the ease of blending colors and the slight glossy looks of my finished products...before the pastel would dry up and chip. If I have time, then I prefer to use pastels even now but if I have to be neat then I color with coloring pencils or just crayons in general. With the sketching, it is just fun to use different hardness of charcoal pensils to sketch and shade but that can get pretty messy also.
