My schooldays are floating into my memories. Yes, it was on an annual day celebration and I was helping the drama guys arrange the stage when I got stumbled and crashed on the floor. It was really embarrassing and i could never forget all those laughing faces.
Do you have some experiences like this?

Have I slipped and fell down in front of an audience? Countless of times! I don't know what's wrong with me :)) Just recently I rode a bus going home after a job interview. As I went down the bus, I slipped and managed to grab a bus pole with my left hand and the bus rail with my right hand and I was hanging there like some stupid monkey. lol! What made it worse was the laughter of a woman from across the street :))

I don't mind what happened. It was actually pretty funny, even I laughed :) I enjoyed replying to your topic/question.

Oh that's a pity. But I would rather be proud if I were in your situation. In a bus nobody knows you, but in school, all my friends parents were watching. But since you are a woman, it's not that good to be laughed upon. I sure understand your feelings.
Happy mylotting.
I appreciate your willingness to share your personal experience.

Oh yes I have. It was during a presentation I was making. Since there are computers and projectors and a lot of wires hanging around, it's a perfect spot to fall and that's what happened. I was strolling about with a piece of paper in front of me and my leg got stuck in one of the wires and I was brought down to the ground. It was funny in a way and I learned that I should be more careful, but the audience was humble enough not to laugh.

Well this reminds me about my own father. He is a bank manager. He was called for some presentation and he went to fetch the laser pointer which was on the table across. And the wires did its job.
But the audience were not as kind as yours. They laughed. And guess what? My Dad laughed along with them. I don't know why he did it, but he said 'it was no harm'
Hope you will find some way to forget the embarrassment.

Embarrassment?? People always see me fall when I'm on the court. I fall so much that they have stopped lifting me up lol. So when I fell in the classroom, it was nothing. In fact I would have done what your father did if they had chosen to laugh. They say it's unkind, but it's just human impulse that you laugh when someone trips and falls.

I saw the title of this discussion and it made me laugh out loud.
I was really clumsy when I was in grade and middle school. There were several award ceremonies, when I was called up in front of the whole school to recieve honor roll recognitions, and I tripped and stumbled, and got laughed at.

I was really impressed by the response. Don't think that I am poking fun of you, but such silly and embarrassing memories are good right? For example you will always cherish the memories of that ceremony as long as you remember the embarrassment, right?
Happy mylotting.
