How to get good sleep?

I always wondered the possible ways for getting a good and sound sleep. It is not very easy for every one to get a sound sleep. Sound sleep depends on the activity of the mind. Mind makes sleep possible and mind controls sleep too. A person with heavy thoughts, even if he goes to bed does not get a sound sleep as his mind does not allow him to do so. What are the ways of getting good sleep?

Hi there cudamani! Good day to you! I think to get a good night sleep, you must be very very tired! One way I do to get a good night sleep is exercise stressfully in the daytime and do lots of chores and just get busy during the day so that when I go to bed at night my eyes will just close and when I open it, it is already morning and I feel very very energized and I know that I've had a good night sleep. :)

For me in order to have a good sleep is you should go to bed early as 9 or 10 pm and when you feel that you are not sleepy yet just try to read books or watch t.v and after minutes you will be yawning and go to sleep. Sleep early is good so that the body and mind will have enough rests which is needed for the following day. I will wake up at about 6am or 7am and its good to have at least 7 or eight hours of sleep everyday.

You know what, I've been wondering about that too 'cos I've been having irregular sleeps for the past few months. But personally, I think the best way to get a good night sleep is to sleep early til you get used to it again. Drink milk before going to sleep. Tire yourself during the day so when night comes, you'll feel very tired and it will make you want to get to dream land fast. That way, your body clock will be back to normal again.

i always try to have a good sleep.most of the times i am successful but sometimes i am failed in getting good sleep.there are many reasons why we don't hav a good sleep.if a person is very much tired then he can't have a good sleep because he had done more work that he requires to do.
a good sleep is possible to those who have the good daily routine which is not fluctuating everyday.to have a good sleep,at early morning we need to wake up.then we need to do yoga,then we should go for a morning walk,then take a bath,then have your breakfast.then read some newspapers.then do other works.then, have your lunch.then do your work perfectly.then have a bit lunch at the last of the noon.then come back home rest for sometime.then study and work then have your dinner.then study and go to bed in time.
then obviously you will have a good sleep.
