It's been a long time since I was a nonmember. Once I got all the quests done I stocked up on the supplies ( mostly logs & feathers to make arrows from )I knew I'd need as a member & switched over. You could also stockpile big bones for later use on a gilded alter in someone Player owned house.

One thing you could always do, for leveling skills and making a bit of money also; is mining/smithing. Go ahead and look around the Official Runescape Forums for Mining/Smithing Guides. You'll definitely need the extra money when you become a member, and the good start on the Mining and Smithing will definitely help you out as a member, also.

I fully agree. I myself have never been much of a miner after the loss of my first account that had like 80ish mine, but still I mine off and on. Smith is just like pure profit:)

The key here is that whatever you do get yourself a gang of friends and do it together. It can be a blast. My family we have a network of computers and we can have five people on all at once. Not only that we have relatives in are areas that can come on at the same time. With just family and a few friends we can put together a pretty impressive clan war army with just a little bit of organization.

You could try clan wars. I generally go there with my brothers, join a small clan and then try to cream a clan that's bigger than the one we're in. It can be a whole lot of fun, especially when you absolutely destroy the other side.

definitly the most fun was pking. I love pking so much, but unless your a pure then your just going to lose money. Also you really only make money if your 70+ str or a good range2her pking. I would suggest just doing lots of skills to make money, and when you do become a member you'll have the most fun possible.

You can leveling up all of your free-played skills, and then tried to to collect your supply for your member skilled. you can also make money from that too. If it doesn't help, tried go to Fist of Guthix. It a really good mini game for runescape.

Having been a non member for a little over two years now, I do get bored very easily with the same routines over and over again. what I would suggest is to make a music video on Runescape. That is always fun.

well, if you have done all of the free to play quests, then, you can try doing the lumbridge achievement diary, second alternative is to play minigames, like bounty hunter, fist of guthix, or clan wars along with your frineds. and if you want you can collect stuff like, logs for use when you will learn the skill of fletching.

You could make lots of money, so when you become amember you can do construction easily. Cutting yews would help a lot.

Although I don't play RuneScape anymore, I may be able to tell you some ways. What I liked to do was to go to Clan Wars or Fist of Guthix. Those games are quite fun. Maybe you could get some supplies you will need as a Member, like feathers. If it gets boring do something else like collecting Big Bones. Another thing I liked to do is to merchant, buy low sell high. You might think this is impossible since the Trade Update but you can do it through the Grand Exchange. Yes, that was quite fun for me. Remember that the Grand Exchange Database is not there without a reason! Have fun!

Try hunting Revenants in the wilderness with a couple of friends. I would do that, but right now I have sold everything to afford enough logs for 99 fming. Anyways, try it. just remember to always wear full green d'hide

For fun I would PK or Clan wars, and if your not much of a combat person you can do your favorite skill. Or get skills high so when you go to member you will have the right stats to make some money!
