Which do you feel or think is better?

A portable GPS or one that comes from the manufacture of a vehicle? I personally prefer the portable one. Car in shop or totaled, I still can find my next patients. Although the system may take you further away from your destination..()it does happen)' it will always bring you home, I'm very interested in what you think.
