In today's economy, I'm pretty sure many people have thought of playing the lottery more often and have done so hoping to be relieved of this catastrophe. I for one have played ...but no luck!! It's wonderful to imagine what one can do if only they won that JACKPOT! The first thing I would do is take a vacation with my family...Definitely donate to chariy. During my vacation, I would think of what to do with the rest...So tell me what would you do? How would you spend it? What would you NOT spend/waste your money on? What special treat would you give your family, friends, lovedones? What special treat would you give yourself? Share your thoughts whatever they may be because it's always nice to dream alittle...:)

I would buy myself the best hardware in the world and build some super computers. I would leave 1 million dollar on the bank for rent. I'd give some of the rent to charity. But to be honest: I don't know what other things I'd do... It's just unthinkable to have 2 million dollars!

If I win 2M dollars, I will pay off my best friend's debt first, Oh boy she is into a very deep financial crisis and all I just want to do now is to help her. After that I could give my family their own share. Then probably buy a new condo in Toronto, a new chalet in Switzerland, give to charity and to my friend monks, and nuns. The rest, I will figure out when I get the money.

If I will win a 2 million dollars I will immediately raise my dream house and invest some of it to sustain my other ambitions. I will give some to charity, I will secure my only nephews future and spend a happy life with the rest of my love ones. I will thank first God for the gift.

I would buy a house in the countryside, give up my job, go travelling to places and be charitable not just with money but my time, try to make a difference and help those who are genuinely in need with help that will last for example a fishing net and not a fish and digging wells, building homes with any volunteers who join me.
I would also however treat myself too, I would buy a home gym and a jacuzzi, I would eat out more often, go on more skiing holidays.

In this order:
1. I would not tell a soul. I would wait until my day off and drive to the headquarters and cash it and open a separate checking account after taxes are paid of course.
2. Pay off all my creditors and my house, and my car, and my student loans.
3. I then would request off work (like usual) and go on a small vacation.
4. Hire some contractors to fix everything wrong with my house, and a landscaper to get my yard the way I want it.
5. Then I would get myself together and apply for nursing school and not worry about making X amount of money while in school to be able to make ends meet.
6. I would continue to work and give to others after my debts and family is taken care of.
Man, that would be nice wouldn't it?

Ok, I know exactly what I would do. I would buy a house in Beverly Hills. I really want to live in California and Beverly Hills is the perfect spot. I don't think that there would be any money left after I buy the house. So that will be it. I will earn the other money for living myself.

I would have my nephew operated with the mass at his throat if still can be operated, would give his a family a reasonable amount to start a little business for their living. I will finance the education of a granson by a niece who is very willing to pursue his college studies and give her mom a capital to have a business for the family. I would buy another nephew a jeepney or a taxi or a van of his own, so he would be no longer earning thru bounderies or commissions. I will give sufficient amount to my brothers for them likewise to have better lives. To have their own houses and if possible for them to own vehicles. I would buy my children their own houses and lot, provide them cars and capitals for their own businesses. I would set aside money for their savings such as time deposits. A trust fund for my grand daughter for her college education. A family tomb where I can lay to rest my late husbands remains. I would give my friends and other relatives amount that would change their lives to a more enjoyable one. I will give back a little joy to those whom I endebted or those who in anyway have done me good or help or even just let me feel better during my rough days. I will give 10 percent to the church...A little amount to the charity, to others. I will just stay with my children with a little money and little business. By the way 2 million dollars is around 97 million pesos here in our country. That's a lot of money...

I'm sorry for your nephew and I hope someday soon he will be able to have surgery.
If one of my family members suffered from the same thing and I won the lottery, I would definitely have them taken care of. I live in NJ (next to NY) and yes 2 million dollars is alot of money for me, however, I would need to take the necessary steps to make sure I don't waste it. It's very easy to waste/spend money here.

Well that was nice of your stepsister to buy your mother a car. I'm sure if you ever win the lottery, there are many other ways your can take care of your mother.
Please remember to "Reward" yourself too. Where I come from, women were taught to take care of everyone else before themselves and if you come from a Place like mine, then we need to change the way we think and treat ourselves as much as we can.

2 million dollars in my hands? I will turn it into a pack of equipment for my Boss, JL Cao, that will make him easier. I appreciate him very much.He has tons of ideas, and work hard.
And the above must be on the base of this: my GF will get what she want to have that money can buy.
If god like money, the above will be 0, i wanna a ticket to the heaven, just look my mama for only one second, that will be ok.

A mustang...a few houses, for vacation AND investment purposes. I'd have to do some calculating (or seek some advice) to decide if I should pay cash or just make downpayments and borrow from the back for the houses and then invest the rest of the money elsewhere.
Clothes, of course. A few nice things for my kids, but not so much that they get out of control spoiled.
I'd fix up some things in my dad's house.
Oh, and pay off my credit cards, of course.

I dont think I could spend all that. Could you imagine?!? My husband plays the lottery on occasion but I have never really bothered with it. By the time you win you end up spending that much waiting to win in my opinion. Im sure it is worth it though if you actually win.
I would buy a house. Not a huge house but one big enough for all of us and a little extra room. And of course furnish it. From there I would probably take more vacations with the family. I would give some of the people I know some and I would donate some. I would not lend anyone any because I have learned my lesson with that...they dont pay it back when I dont have millions in the bank so I could imagine they would definitely not pay back if they knew I had the money. I dont really have too much I would do with it. Make sure there is plenty in separate accounts for the kids and stuff. Guess thats really about it...simple things really.

2 Million is more than I'd could ever need , so I'd pay of my mortgage, maybe buy a house for each of my four children, take us all on a years trip around the world, and then think about what to do with the rest...which would still easily be a lot more than a million! I would invest it in a way which would benefit others, maybe built a school in a disadvantaged country and provide education to children who would otherwise not have a chance. In any case , I think the only real pleasure from so much money, once I have made sure I never have financial problem anymore, is to ' give back' and watch something good come out of my investment.

I would buy a new car, put money away for my kids school and there future (that they can't touch til they are 25/30), put some money away for our retirement. Buy the lot that I live in and a house. Go back to school and pay for it right there (in cash). Help my close friends and family a little. And believe it or not, put someone that is less fortune in the house that I live in now, so they can get back on their feet. I know it sounds nuts, but I am not greedy, I been through to much in this life and I know lots of others have it worse. So if I were to win, I'd actually personally help someone else.

Yes personally helping someone would be better than just giving money to charity.
My heart goes out to people who don't have a decent meal...people who starve on a daily basis and wonder where they will get their next meal...That breaks my heart and I believe noone should have to go thru that experience but unfortunately it happens everyday.

Boy, I sure would love to win big at the lottery. The lottery would definetly help my family and myself. I can't think of a better way to live. If I won 2 million dollars I would first give most of it to my family. Then, I would give the rest to myself.
