yeah i'm one of the millions will are suffering from the recession and now i'm collecting unemployment.well..the recession has got me thinking about alot of things and thinking about alot of things about obama as well.the recession is basically a depression just worded different.the thing i want to know is,how to make the best of the recession.i've been trying to offer services that i know like junk removal, job site clean-up,stuff like that.anything that can make me money.this recession also will be making the internet BOOM!!! like crazy.how?take online scams for instance.Since the recession, the unemployment rate in america has reached a record high and that isn't good at all.so alot of americans and others will result to try and find work at home jobs whenever none exsist.if they do,they won't make you enough money to get by.you'll be spending either more money init,or working like a dog to get people to join you and make empty promises just so they can join you.The recession makes pretty much everything that was a scam,a possible legitimate scam.i also noticed that the only store's that are surviving other than grocery stores and etc are pawn shops!they will take anything and give you cash for it or better yet,get a loan.I think the best way to use this recession is to safe your money, buy what you only need, not what u want.take your job skills, experiences or in house skills and advertise those skills as a service to your community and see what that does for you.of course yeah...it's gonna take some time to get customers or whatever but hey...everything usually works out in the long run.just don't give up hope and take this recession as a break in your life to reconcile stuff that you haven't done in awhile.in the meantime...take care and enjoy life as much as you possibly can.

Great discussion. Good Points. I think we are going to see it worse and then after 2010 it will get better. More people are going to lose their jobs. Crime is going to get worse. You're going to see a lot more scams. I think people are going to get roped into trying home jobs just to survive and we all may be victims of the economy before it's overwith. It hit us a while back and we haven't seen an end to it yet. Good luck.

You have the right idea, I think you are very wise, it is all very scary I am in Australia and things are getting bad here too but what I am more worried about is what is going to happen after things pick up, our prime Minister is giving away so much money we don't have and it is in the billions and now is talking about spending hundreds of billions on military stuff because I think he wants to be like a world leader...I think the big boys up there have a lot to answer for and I think it all started because of the rich peoples greed and now we all have to suffer...

Hi,
I too feel myself as a victim of recession. This made me suffer a lot in my life. I got recruited in a corporate company in my college days. Its now atmost one year i have finished my college. The company recruited me is yet to issue me a joining date. I have wasted plenty of offers from other companies before this recession to start. Now i feel a lot pathetic!
God only knows what happens next, with hopes!
Cheers,
