Ky. derby

Hi anniefannie! No, I'm sorry to say, I didn't watch the Kentucky Derby this year. That's kind of strange coming from me, knowing how much I love horses, isn't it? If I had known that it was going to be on, I would have watched it. I don't gamble. I just like to watch the horses. I will pick one I think will win, though. I've been to a couple of horse races in my life time. I went to one at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky back in the '70s. A year or two later, my parents and I went to one in Hot Springs, Arkansas. My daddy and I got to go down to the paddock and see the horses up close at Churchill Downs and I got to pet one. Kathy.

I actually missed it this year... each year is a hit or miss for me...it all depends on how it falls each year. I read a book a couple years ago and it took place around the three big races, the book was so good I couldnt wait to see the kentucy derby that year...LOL, but when I watched it after reading that book it was like I had an inside scoop on it and I loved it even more... granted I have always loved horses.... Did you enjoy it, and did you pick a horse for it?

i do like to see horses riding but i couldnt see this yaer,i am not so good at bets but i am real glad that no horse was hurt.i feel very bad when any animal gets injured!!

no, i didn't watch it. didn't even think about it. was trying to stay busy because i didn't have any internet service. i was not a happy camper but at least i got a closet cleaned out. bet? with my luck u got to be kidding., lol.i to am glad noone got hurt. i hate it when that happens. have a good day, anniefannie.
