Do you ever read ebooks online?

I love reading ebooks online or on my computer. They're usually free or low cost with so many topics to choose from including; fiction, non-fiction, romance, cooking, child care, gardening, Internet marketing, Ebay blogging and more. Most ebooks are available in .pdf (Acrobat reader) format and can be printed out for easy reference. That's a really good thing, especially for recipe ebooks. Have you ever read an ebook online?

Hello beautyqueen26, I have never read e-book online. I can't stand reading on my computer as I get bored easily. I love to read book while lying down on the bed (... and fast asleep not even 10 minutes after reading sometimes)

I've never read one online, as I find it hard to read allot of text from the screen. I've printed out a few ebooks and read them in the past, but I find most of them are pretty poor quality and I'd rather just look for the information I need online when I need it. I guess there's good ones out there, but they seem to be harder to come across.

Yes, I have. I read one a couple of months ago from a site one of the mylot members recommended. I can't for the life of me think of the name of the book or the website, but I remember every bit of the story. I do enjoy reading actual books more, but you're right, the fact that you can get them free is a big reason to use them.

No I don't because I don't know where one can do that at. Would you be so kind and tell me the site's address in a pm? That would be so awesome to be able to do that!! So if given the chance, yes, I would definitely read books online. It's much cheaper, free rather and I wouldn't have to leave the comfort of my home!

I sometimes read ebooks, but that is because it hurts my eyes to stare at the computer for too long & I normally don't wear my glasses. When I do, they are the free ones. I like getting the informative ones like about blogging, ebay, etc. With them, I print them out for reference later on or if I don't have enough ink, I will keep them on the computer until I can print them out.

I love reading, whether ebooks or hard bound books. The only problem nowadays is that books have become so expensive nowadays that purchasing them is out of the question, especially when one has retired and lives on limited income. I tried the ebooks route and did get quite a few free downloads. But the choice is limited and the really good authors are missing from these lists.

I read some online once in a while, usually in the winter when the nights are long, cold, and there's nothing I have to do. I go to this one place that has older style books that I like. They're totally free, and what I like too is that I can change the size of the font, and page size. (I like that because of my glasses lol) They have a bit of everything there: horror, fiction, comedy, autobiographies, history, crime novels, romance, and etc. Here's the link if you'd like to check it out. No newer type authors there, but I have found some that I liked because they represented a different era in writing. http://www.freeonlinebooks.org/

I have read then beauty and I love to read but to be honest ebooks aren't really my thing! I love the feel and smell of a book and much prefer reading from a book than a computer if I am reading a novel! Guess we all have different ways of doing things! xxx

I've actually have downloaded a number of ebooks, yet still haven't read them...plan to do so as soon as possible. My problem is that I'm not a very good on-line reader. I still like reading the old-fashioned way...books...usually snuggled in bed with my two kitties cuddling up to me before I go to sleep....LOL

Yes, the E-books are much more popular than before. Sometimes the normal books are out of stock. And the E-books are another option. But usually I prefer to download and read it from my cellphone. If it is a PDF format, then I still prefer to read it from my computer. I love China

Oh, I got no other go. The books here cost so costly and I can't buy any of those. And since there are no libraries, then I can't even get borrow them. So I have to read those books online or download the ebook. It's another good way to read, but doing it for a long time can have a lasting effect on eyes and it's not what I want. So I regularly take breaks. bourne

My husband has three books published, and I read them all as ebooks before I read them as paperbacks. He published them in both formats (self published books) I think that eBooks are a really cool idea. They are also cheaper than regular books, because there are no production fees/ Authors still get the same royalties.
