I dont drink a lot of milk by its self, but I love cereal and milk and cookies and milk, and I always preferred to buy 2% milk becuse it has a nice even taste, and of course its a little less fating then whole milk or vitamin D milk, and I dont really like the taste of 1% milk it taste to watered down ew, and I dont like artificial milk like that powdered milk becuse it just taste strange and you always end up with those little powdered chunks at the bottom of the glass, ew hahah, well anyway what kind of milk do you prefer buying and which percent?

Hi apples99
Here in the uk we have full fat milk, semi-skimmed and skimmed. Whole milk milk would be full fat milk which what I prefer the taste of but drink semi-skimmed/2% because I know it is better for me and my kids and personally I don't see the point to 1% as it doesn't have much taste to it and is very watery to me, I'd rather not have milk at all than to use 1%

I buy vitamin D milk. I like the taste better but do not drink it plain. I use it for cooking and I like to pour it over ice cream. I use the Depo-Provera shots as birth control which causes problems with calcium absorption. Vitamin D helps you absorb calcium better. My doctor recommended that I get more calcium and Vitamin D in my diet. I also use Vitamin D milk for that reason. I also have small kids and I've been told that kids need Vitamin D when they are that young.
