How to increase my website visitors?

I recently start my own website, and I want to start my own business, any ideas, can someone help?It is hard to get visitors, any advertisement plan or web advertisement exchange could help.
What is the best method to get paid from your website ... I'm new in website marketing and need help ...

I am english and can't read any other languages but when I want traffic to my web sites I write articles and get them published on article directories. I also publish to EzineArticles.com first and wait until they approve my article, then and only then do I publish them on other directories.
I also find related blogs and leave comments that add value to the blog post I am commenting on.
That will get your more traffic. If you don't leave a good comment you will just have your comment deleted so don't using this strategy if you don't plan to make useful comments.
I get so many comments that just say something like "great blog, thanks". Well those comments just get deleted.

[b][/b]I recommend join a blog community like entrecard.com and blogcatalog.com,they are all free, visit sites of other members and leave a comment or follow them, they will in return visit your site and you will create traffic, you can do it little by little, goodluck!
