Today I made the mango jam and that's quite delicious. It is so easy to make.
First, put the mango flesh inside the wok. And the squeeze a mango juice inside. Use the potato pressure to mash the ingredient. And then put the sugar inside and stir a little bit. Boil for a few minutes until the ingredient is very thick and it's done
According to it, you can also make the strawberry jam and so on

thanks for this easy way of preparing a mango jam youless. i have made mango pickles and mango milk shakes but have never given a try to this thing. it sounds so easy that i am thinking of going to the market and buying two three kgs of nice juicy ripe mangoes and making good jam for everyone in the house., my hubby loves mango jam and mango ice cream. it will be very nice for him. i am avoiding sugasr so i will avoid but i love to make it since it is so simple and something home made is always good and more healthy as compared to the outside bought one.

Mangos are very expensive in my country. But I´ll remember your recipe the next time I go to Mexico to visit my niece. They have wonderful mangos there and fairly unexpensive

yes the guave has a lot of seed and the seeds are not needed. they take it off then boils the guave first. the seeds are not good as spread lol. as i remember they too tried oranges but it didnt came out as good as the guave. so they stick to guava alone.

yes you are right mango jam is very good and tastes yummy..here in india we have now the season for the delicious mangoes. We make all the products out of mangoes. We make pickles with raw mangoes and jams, milkshakes, juices with ripe ones...Mango jam is highly calorific and good for children. Though it is not good for diabetic patients...daily once can be taken...

Hi there you less. That mango jam sounds really delicious... to be honest i only ate mango in yogurt and used it as a mango massage cream, but other than that i don't think i ever used it as a fruit... natural or in jam - i hope i do get to eat some though, but so far i have not seen this fruit in my country (not even as import).

This recipe sounds delicious, I can't wait to try it. I live in Mexico and mangoes are either very cheap or free here. ( By the way no swine flu at all where I live) I wonder if it would be good with a little lime juice in it, mangoes are so very sweet. They are absolutely my favorite fruit, I can't wait to try this.

Thanks, youless, for sharing your experience with us. Frankly speaking, I don't like the taste of mango very much. I think it tastes somewhat strange. I will try to make some strawberry jam. I think this kind of fruit jam is natural and nutritious since it does not contain any chemical ingredient which might be harmful to our health. Have a nice day!

I love mangoes, and we have them in the store right now at a good price. For many types of jam you have to have the fruit a little green, is that true of mangoes as well? Does the less ripe fruit make better jam?

I have never tried making mango jam before. Sounds like it could be quite tasty! When I was younger, we had raspberry bushes and a peach tree. We never made much raspberry jam because we always ate too many of the raspberries, but it was always my favorite!! The peach jam was really good too.
Now I cant wait until the fruits ripen this year to make some jam!
