Yes... every time we think we have things settled we get carried off on another wave... why?
Are we destined to be moved all the time like this or can we tie ourselves down in one spot and weather the storms around us?

Life is like an ocean because there is so many things to see, do, enjoy and experienced. Why would you rather be tied to one port when there plenty of other wonderful places to see? Sure there'd be storms sometimes, that's why we should be masters of our own vessels and take control of where we want to go and how. ;P If not... as you say, we'd always be carried off on another wave, not knowing where we'd end up next. Why let 'waves' control our destiny?
Anyway, yeah, perhaps we are destined to move all the time, that's what living is all about.

True enough...
Sometimes I think people are like sharks... if we stop moving we die... either physically or mentally....
